Kids’ Eye Exams

Children’s vision care is crucial to every child’s development. Reports show that 80 percent of what a child learns in school is presented visually, so there is a natural correlation between good vision and academic performance. Altitude Eye Care recommends that your children undergo routine eye exams starting at the age of 2 so we can detect any nearsightedness, farsightedness and/or astigmatism so your child can be promptly treated with eyeglasses or contact lenses.

A regular exam also allows our eye doctors to ensure your child’s eyes are healthy and free of amblyopia, strabismus, and other binocular vision problems that may interfere with your child’s vision development, which is  important for daily life, academic performance, sports, and other activities.
